The material that these arching stories may contain references to previous works that have involved the characters. I'll try to keep it at balanced to have the flashbacks of importance become relevant within the text. You may need to look back at the Klown's Kreation Library for more information. Based on the Gache Life comics version, but will be expanded on over here. ----- Expedition Deep in the cold wet cave where water is dripping from the rough ceiling spike, there were two figures bloodied as they are trying to find a particular sacred item. There was a man who's goggle is stained with blood, unwilling to do much of anything while he coughs heavily. The goggles were clouded with seat and tears as he rested on the cave's wall. The other man seem to be wearing an aquamarine scarf, having the bleak expression as he continues to search for this particular item. It felt as if his life depended on it. "Oi... StorySensei... Is it really worth it at this point..? We have lost a lot of good people... We have caused those losses with your own bloody hands. At this point, can't we just quit and rot... It's selfish of us to go all this way to reset everything beyond us...", reasoned the lad as he took of his stained goggles. This action revealed his hazel eyes, with a slimmer hope of a brighter yellow to be had. The Sensei paused his search as he stared at those hazel eyes. A sense of wrath can be heard in such a tired tone, "You started this damn search to begin with, Thunder! You brought this upon me because you lost your brother to some corrupted entity~ Guess what, I lost practically everything when I accepted this task. I am willing to lose this present if it mean getting a fresh start in life. Not something refreshed and recycled... Rather just something that'd lead us to forget this past... Huff... I miss seeing Earl..." As the Sensei is lying on the ground, he sees projections of his old friends that can't be real. He pointed at them, but Thunder sees nothing but sensation of a cold breeze entering the cave. Such a wind whistled as he tried to tap his hand on the mushy ground of the cavern. He was tapping on something rather smooth, something flat that can open up. To his surprise, he found the item they were look for. It was the Console. He shouted to alert Sensei, "Hey, I found the Console of the World. Looks like we maybe able to start the Factory Reset" "Huh... really?", questioned Sensei as he hastily gotten up. He anxiously approached Thunder as he stared at the Console. A screen of option appeared to the two, some are that of Great Wealth, Luck, Charm, and Immortality. The two looked at each other, unsure whether to really proceed. "Hey, Thunder... Do you see the reset option?" Thunder scrolled down to the list of infinite options, full of cheats of the world. Full of bizarre options like Big Head or One Swollen Gripping Arm. The choice of a Factory Reset isn't apparent. Soon, Thunder started to rapidly tap on the arrow keys. The amount of time to even be scrolling started becoming a chore that strains on both of them. Eventually, they find themselves on the last page of where the option is more apparent. Factory Reset StorySensei and Thunder find themselves with a choice that a choice that they have been heading towards like climbing a spiral staircase with the uncertainty of the path ahead. It seems so unstable to climb, using the blood of others to even keep it stable. Such a choice can easily be chosen with a with a press of their fingertips. Hesitation is in the air. "The device is right in front of us... We can finally rest and put this whole story away... I can be free from being a mere vessel from this selfish deity...", calmly spoke Sensei as he grew weary. The heavy tone in the statement led Thunder to feel some sort of definite belief that they are going to proceed with the reset. However, he thought about their journey together. He considers that they'll forget each other, bound to forget each other once the button will be pressed. They knew what each other were feeling, but asking away may not matter as much... "Are you okay?" "No... The only thing that I greatly need is to be myself. We can't have his actions affect us no more, he always viewed himself as the antagonist after all.", his voice loud and clear. "... Okay friend, I'll remove him and proceed with the Factory Reset", spoke Thunder as he motioned his finger above the button. He soberly looked at his Sensei, smiling even. "I don't want to forget you despite all of this, see you next time whenever that is" The button have been pressed. The world has been shifting in an instant. Frames crosses rather quickly, a chef fairy who've fulfilled her role in the cooking industry, a voyage among a summoner and his fellow units, the desolate remnants of the fallen and forgotten all in one flash... The aftermath of the flash seem to reveal the truth... It was all... ... There was a place that were in ruins. A time that existed in this new slate of the universe... Or rather refreshed. A man with green strings wrapped around his joints is standing in place. Rather idly too. He decided that the best thing to do is nothing for his new existence. He just stood there, menacingly. A man with orange stained goggles arrived at the ruins, reaching around to see the lime stringed man. "Puppet..? Is that you... I recognize your strings after all...", spoke the goggled man as he reminisce the times of a replaced era. "Oh... I didn't expect to see you... I presume you still got your Thunder er... Fire even?", questioned Puppet as he stared at the goggled man. He still sees Thunder within him... Even recalling said replaced times. "What brings you here in this journey of yours?" "The name is Kernel by the way... It's about him... About the Klown", claimed Kernel as he proceeds to detail his perception of the Klown. "He brought these memories upon us, he practically recycled theses previous concepts about us. These memories, I should have been left behind, I should have a genuine fresh start!" Puppet took his time to think of a proper response towards the vengeful popcorn. He decided to offer some advice, "Here's my honest opinion, don't go after him-" Kernel cuts him off, "What do you mean don't go after him!? Do you know what he did to Storyteller who've wandered aimlessly, Blizzard who's selfish desire led to the reset, You who've suffered being angst to the point your relationship with Spiral broke off!" "I am aware about being his first and former vessel... Right now, this is merely clouded data that hasn't completely assimilated in this world... The best we can do is live by our world as long as it can until it gets properly patched... Hopefully", informed Puppet as he inferred about the future. He doesn't know what to future lies, which is frankly a good enough of a thing. Kernel felt silent, understanding that Puppet won't follow along with his ideal plan. He accepted it, "I see... I will still go through motive... After all, it affected my view on my sister... I still see him in Brit. It hurts... And the C.O.B. well... I grew distant after the concept of Summoners and a life is simulation was brought up once more, I fled." Kernel stared at Puppet, unsure of what to do next... Yet he faced away and walked towards the exit of the ruins. He said his farewell as he vanished before the Puppet's eyes. He was long gone in his journey of vengeance.
