Chapter 6 - "So she's Naomi's ..."
It's been a long time since I've become a Gacha. I admit that it was difficult to accept that even though I was a human who only wanted to have an ordinary life, and by a randomness, I became a being with special abilities ... I remember very well that day ...
I was at school, talking to the members of the science club to solve a problem, until a blue light appeared for us who were in the club. After that, I and the members of this club were pulled into that light and ... we were in a kind of totally strange school, where the sky was green, the ground we walked on had green traits ... Seriously, we were terrified and confused with the situation.
It was not long before we heard a strange female voice, saying to catch two people ... A human being called Gacha Summoner and a fairy. After she said that, these two people showed up. I tried to talk to them, but when I approached, my body began to burn a lot and there began to appear some green and purple markings on my body. And after that, I don't remember anything ...
I just remember waking up in the student council room, with a giant fan of paper and a voice in my head, similar to mine, telling me I should act as the perfect student council president. It was there that I realized that I was no longer the same ...
I had no idea what I had become or what would happen to me, but I could only understand the situation only two weeks later, when Sebastian surprised me ...
(A few minutes earlier)
I had woken up early as usual. Some teachers were sending me a message for my cellphone so that I would arrive earlier at school to help organize these free, open-ended activities that would happen at school all this week to raise funds.
I replied that I would. I got out of bed, took my shower, got dressed in school uniform, and before leaving home, I listened to my voice ...
"Be punctual and willing in school. It's your duty."
I looked back only to see if it had been my mother who had said something, but in the end it was the same voice I heard when I came back from that strange school.
So I left the house and walked the path I took to go to school. I live only a little away from school, but strangely, my body didn't get tired while I walked. That was one of the things that changed me ... I didn't feel any tiredness, even with lots of work to do at school and at home after I came back.
I received a message for the P.E. teacher to buy some embellishment materials for free activities. I remembered that there was a store open at this time, near Sebastian's house, which sold the ornaments the teacher asked for.
I arrived at this store, bought the ornaments and walked down the street of Sebastian's house, with my bag full of materials.
I looked at my cellphone and saw that I was arriving very early in school, and I realized that I was approaching Sebastian's house.
"I think I'm going to send him a message."
I put the bag on the floor to get my cellphone in the bag, but before I sent the message, the voice in my head said ...
"Don't be late for people who are not willing like you."
I sighed slightly and sent a message to Sebastian. It was not long before he answered and we began to send messages for each other, until I was already in front of him. He suggested that I go into his house for coffee and I finally accepted.
When he opened the door, I saw his warm face. Sebastian is a boy I admire for his conduct. Cozy, understandable, diligent, disciplined, intelligent ... A student model. No wonder he is one of the student council members and conveniently the newbie I chose to help him at the beginning of last school year.
After a great greeting, I went into his house.
"Come and have some coffee. I'll serve you." Sebastian said in a very happy tone.
"Thank you, Sebastian." I simply smiled and sat down on the kitchen table chair.
One thing that struck me as strange is that after I sat down, I felt something strange coming up behind me. I looked back and saw the sofa. I don't know why, but I swear I felt someone watching me.
"Is something bothering you, Naomi?" Sebastian asked with a calm expression.
"No, Sebastian. It's just that I've never come to your house before." Yes, the house where he lives is what attracts me more attention than that my sense of being watched.
"Ahhh, okay." He replied with a slight but shaky laugh.
I may not understand much how people show emotions or feelings, but it was pretty obvious that Sebastian was nervous about something.
"Want something to eat? There's toast ready if you want." He spoke in a calm tone, but his hands trembled.
"I accept. And don't drop it." I spoke as a hint to see if he's normal or worried about something, but I guess he didn't even notice.
I started looking at his house. It's neat and beautiful inside. I turn around and from where I sit, I see the living room with a sofa, a small table in front of the sofa, a large bookcase with a television, a video game inside the shelf. The kitchen is normal ... Sink, kitchen table, shelves attached to the wall to store the kitchen utensils, microwave, stove ... Not so different from my house.
After I stopped watching the house, Sebastian put a cup of coffee and 4 hot toast in front of me.
"Thank you." I thanked her and went to breakfast soon as he sat in a chair next to me.
"Sorry if the coffee is a bit thick. It was very early in the hour that you sent a message." He spoke in a half-apprehensive tone.
"Don't be sorry, Sebastian. Coffee is coffee." I spoke in a humorous tone, to see if he gets a little more relaxed.
"Not. It's different from one coffee to another." And there he goes to talk about his knowledge of coffee.
Before he started to speak, I realized he was scared of something as he looked my way. No ... He was looking behind me, as if he had something to scare me about. Just to warn me, I looked back and didn't see anything, but Sebastian remained frightened.
"Sebastian, is everything okay?" I'm already getting a little uncomfortable with his expression.
"Y-Yes! I'm fine." He replied shakily and nervously.
"Okay ..." I just had a look of doubt, because I had only seen Sebastian nervous that way when he did a very important test last semester.
"Sebastian, are we going to school soon? I want to finish the services of these activities to stay in the council room resting." To break that uncomfortable air between us, I ended up asking him.
After a deep breath, he nodded, showing a slight smile of confidence.
"Fine. Let me just get my bag and I'll be with you."
Then he ended up climbing to the second floor of the house, in a hurry.
I don't know why, but something must have happened to Sebastian. I've known him for almost 2 years and have never seen him so "agitated". Maybe I should ask him when we get to school ...
"So she's Naomi's ..."
As much as I don't like to judging people by appearance, but it's hard not to be impressed by Naomi's posture ...
She is calm, her hands clasped in front of her waist, patiently waiting for Sebastian, looking down the stairs where he is going to descend ... Damn the modest girl of the home!
"I think I'll upset her a little ..."
I decided to look at her in every possible direction to see if she has any weak points or some time that breaks her posture ...
(60 seconds later)
"This girl is a statue, it's not possible."
Naomi just blinks a few times and breathes normally. I'm only bothering with the fact that Naomi's breathing is quite deep and the whole time she exhales, her breasts is go jump out of her body.
"I don't think I have anything to do."
As I turned to head for the stairs to climb to the second floor of the house, I felt a chill as I looked at Naomi ...
I don't know if she's looking right or just by intuition, but she was looking at me ... I was a bit scared. My invisibility ability only allows only Sebastian or anyone with medium spiritual energy to see me ... To be honest, maybe it's just my imagination.
"Do you think he has changed since I came back from there?"
What is she talking about?
"Don't call him slacker. He doesn't deserve to be called something like this." Is she talking to herself?
Okay ... There's something strange about this girl. I can even understand that she's talking about Sebastian, but why does she seem to be talking to someone else?
"Well, if Luni allowed it, I would have told him."
What? Luni? How does she know the creator's name?
After she mentioned the name of Luni, I could see that something abnormal for a human being. It was as if she had a green aura around Naomi, as if she had the same spiritual energy of the wind element as me. Is it a ...
"Sorry if I'm late."
*falling to the ground
"Ahh! Damn it, Sebastian! Don't scare me like that!" I mentally screamed at Sebastian, who only made a face of doubt.
"What are you doing, Ellyn?" He asked mentally, as I still lifted off the floor.
"Sebastian, did something happen?" Obviously Naomi was going to notice Sebastian's questioning face.
"Nothing. It's just that I thought there was a ghost behind you ..." Sebastian, if this was a provocation or an insult, I'll punish you later.
"You're watching a lot of anime again, aren't you?" How does she know Sebastian likes anime?
"That's not it ..." And now Sebastian stands in the way.
Out of nowhere, Naomi makes a threatening expression that makes me nervous about what she's going to do.
"Tell me you're not watching these school-terror animes again ..." If he was not watching, now he'll feel in his soul what it is to be afraid of school horror, if that's the way it is.
"I-I-I'm not, President!" Sebastian apologizes briefly to Naomi ... What's going on here?
* expression of discredited
For a moment, Naomi looks at Sebastian, and out of nowhere, she acts like she's out of a trance.
"Ahh! Sorry, Sebastian! I didn't want to have to deal with you that way on purpose." Strangely, Naomi apologizes with great energy, as if this were an accident.
"Fine. It's just that I have not gotten used to this other side yet, but it's still a habit to respond that way." Sebastian stands up, giving a slight laugh with his left hand behind his head.
Other side? First this girl talks about Luni and now Sebastian is talking the other way ... I'm pretty confused by this situation.
"Don't talk like it's normal. You know I don't control it properly." Naomi spoke in an uncomfortable way and turned her face away, implying that she did not do it on purpose.
"Sorry ..." Sebastian says and ends up turning his face to the side.
I know it sounds strange, but what kind of air are these two guys doing here?
"Anyway ..." Naomi turns to look at Sebastian with a smile and places his right hand on his shoulder and with all the excitement ...
"Let's go to school!"
"Okay." Sebastian gives her a smile ...
*laughing and staring in a yandere way for Sebastian and Naomi
What a desire to tear this hand from Naomi ...
Out of nowhere, Sebastian realizes that I'm here, planted, holding candle, wanting to play his face and Naomi on the floor, he resolves to release Naomi's hand from his shoulder and the two begin to walk out of the house.
After Sebastian took her bag and Naomi had her shoes on, he looked directly at me and ...
"If you want to accompany me to know where I study, you can come. If it does, I'll take it and ask you to leave early so you can explain to me better this story of your bow."
Sebastian may be a little flustered, nervous, shy and weird sometimes, and I get a little annoyed and weird when I'm around him. But even so, he supports me ... Why do I feel happy about it?
I just replied mentally to him, but with a smile ...
"I'm going, Sebastian."
He blushed ...
"Just don't do anything unusual." He said with a nervous tone.
"Fine by me, but ..." I stopped talking for a moment just to pay attention to what I'm going to say now.
He looked closer and I with a yandere expression that Sebastian speaks ...
"Don't do anything suspicious with Naomi ..."
(10 minutes later)
What did Ellyn say with "Don't do anything suspicious with Naomi"? Did she realize that I like Naomi? I find it difficult, but I will prevent that from happening. She was crazy when Naomi sent me a message yesterday, wonder if I tell her how I feel about Naomi.
"Sebastian, when we get to school, do you mind going to the council room? I want you to help me with the organization of this week's free activities." Naomi asked me as we walked on the sidewalk of a narrow street.
"Fine. The sooner we finish, the less work we'll have for the rest of the week." I replied and smiled slightly.
"Don't get too excited about it. It's not as if the teachers needed board members just for today." Naomi spoke with a lamenting tone. I think she's right that she's whining about the work she and I are going to get.
"I see." I could only agree, regretting my physical condition that goes down the drain with these free activities.
As much as it is a time for students to go to school, Naomi and I were lucky to find this way. The school is in a very busy area and it is difficult to walk without being afraid of being run over or something. This path we get has little movement of people, which can be called dangerous, but after an event that the school staff calls a "supernatural fight", this street was eventually forgotten by the students' fear. If that were true, Naomi and I would have seen something.
I can already see one of the school's antennas, which means we're close. But what draw my attention is ...
"Ellyn, why don't you walk with me on the floor and not on the roof of these houses?"
As we entered this narrow street, Ellyn said that if someone accidentally bumped into her, even if invisible, they would feel it. She then climbed up a wall of a house and jumped effortlessly up to the ceiling of one of the houses. Fortunately, the ceilings are close to each other, which means that it only needs to walk normally. But I'm being the only person who can see her doing it ... It's still an unusual thing to see ...
"Relax, Sebastian. It's not as if someone would notice me up here." Far still, her mental voice is still loud, which allowed me to hear her.
I could only sigh, because if I make any suspicious moves, or Naomi will ask me until I tell the truth or Ellyn was going to throw herself at me for thinking I'm planning something to do with Naomi.
"We're close to school." Naomi said, unconsciously, she pulled the sleeve of my shirt excitedly.
"Good." I'm only expecting Ellyn to arrive with a flyer in my face.
We were already in front of the school. Many of the students in the school were already talking about me and Naomi. There seems to be a rumor that she and I are dating ... I would not even care if it were true, but even so, it would bother me that they were talking behind our backs.
Well, I could say that day would be a normal day, where a Gacha and my crush would be near me. But I did not even expect that day to be too hectic ...
End of Chapter 6
Chapter 7 - "I think my day was worth it ..."
"Sebastian, can I talk to you?"
Ellyn asked me mentally, with a little discomfort in her words. Thankfully she called me before I walked into the main building of the school. So, I talk for Naomi wait a bit.
"What's happening, Ellyn?" I mentally asked Ellyn, in a calm, calm tone, to see if she could let that possible discomfort aside and tell me what's bothering her.
"Is it okay if I stay outside of this school?"
As? Staying outside? I thought she was going to want to follow me to keep me away from having physical contact with any girl in school or even talking to some girl, by her bipolar manner. As I found this request strange, I decided to ask a question.
"Why? Is there a problem?" I asked in the calm, but ...
"I don't want ente in this school. Just this." She said in a hostile and nervous tone, as if she had felt something bad coming from school.
I usually don't have the habit of questioning a person's decision. We all have motives or problems we don't want to tell, and that's no different for Ellyn. As much as I felt in doubt, I decided to leave ...
* sigh "Okay ..."
I always wonder why Ellyn has that bipolar way. One hour she gets all nervous about me and another one is making fun of me. I even understand the things we've been through since yesterday, but even so, I feel that there is still an abyss between me and her. Even together, I still think it's going to be tricky for me to make Ellyn feel more comfortable with me.
Only yesterday I realized that it acts in many ways and I try to adapt to it, but it seems to be difficult.
"I'll be close. If you need anything, call me." I still feel the discomfort in her voice, but I decided not to ask the reason now.
"Okay, when I'm done, you and I are going to start looking for your bow." I spoke only to remind her, but she just nodded, saying nothing.
When I realized it, I saw Ellyn, still invisible, sitting on the roof of a house near the school, watching the main building of the school. From the direction of her gaze, I didn't notice anything strange outside the main building of the school. What was it that made her so?
When I returned to normal, I realized that Naomi was calling me, wanting to pull me by the sleeve of my shirt. I turned my gaze to her and realized she was staring into the school with a worried look. And of course I understand why....
The P.E. teacher was there in front of the door of the school's main building, with a fury in his gaze directed at me and Naomi as if waiting for us for hours. And it's not hard to guess that Naomi and I were afraid of what he was going to do to us, since he's the kind of impatient person who pays off on students.
"Ready for another day of exploration?" I asked in a lamenting and ironic tone to Naomi, who looked at me with the same face, knowing that we were screwed for having made the teacher wait for us.
"Yes, companion of war." She answered with a funny laugh, which made me smile a little.
And then Naomi and I are going to face another day of class ...
(30 minutes later)
After Naomi and I ended up getting a big lecture from the P.E teacher, she and I went to the student council room on the third floor of the school, along with other student clubs, such as the anime club, debate, literature, and others nearby. We were both talking about some things about this free activities of the school and our plannings to help the students.
These free activities are a kind of event that the school does once per month, to get funds and materials to be donated to some charities instituitions. As most of the students here are very supportive, they help a lot in the organization of these activities.
Today will be just an organization of what will be done to raise funds, such as food stalls, themed rooms as cafeteria, competitive events, for the days that the school will be open to the public, which will be on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. It's what the animes call the "School Festival". I would like to participate along with my classmates, but as I am a board member of the council, I have to help the outsiders who will come to this event to be guided to the places they want, as well as watching the room and solving the problems that may arise during those days. I could simply say that I could not help the council and that I wanted to help my class, but as Naomi asked me to help her in this council work, I could not refuse.
When we got to the front of the student council room, I opened the door and Naomi came in quickly, as if she wanted to get something. After she rolled the entire room she sighed with relief.
"This time the room was not messed up." Naomi spoke calmly and relieved as she searched for her president's armband.
"Well, after your pursuit of the indiciplined students with that giant paper fan on the last wednesday, I doubt anyone would dare to leave anything cluttered at school." I said jokingly and Naomi ended up laughing at this joke. Good thing she did not get this giant paper fan to hit me.
"That was necessary. It was time for those messes to be punished for their conduct." Naomi ended up talking pleasantly, but then she pulled back for saying that.
"As much as I agree with the punishment, you could have make less." I spoke in a tone of concern as I sat down in one of the chairs of the council's round table.
"Well, I thought to apologize for them, but I think it's best not to do that now, right?" Now with a half-sad tone, Naomi ended up speaking with a tone of regret.
When I met Naomi a year ago, she was already president of the student council, as well as being considered the ideal student model, according to the teachers, and she remained so until that year. She always had a very understandable and rigid conduct, even why she could not stay "cool" with the students who are not even follow the rules of the school. And she managed to keep the students on the line, but the things changed two weeks ago.
She began to be stiffer than normal, to the point of going around the entire school alone many times, without pauses, just to keep the students disciplined. The biggest problem with that was last wednesday, when a 3 student of 1th year was running down the aisles and Naomi started chasing them frantically with a giant paper fan, hitting each one on the head with that fan. The teachers rebuked her and she felt very guilty after that, but she did not explain rightly why she did that.
From that day, everyone was very scared of Naomi, but things got worse. I watched and spent more time with her since that day because she decided to isolate herself in the student council room, and because of this fear, eventually reduced the number of council members, leaving only she, me and two other students of the 2nd year, who prefer to go around the school than to be near it.
I felt bad for Naomi, so I decided to just act normally with her, helping her with the advice paperwork, talking to her on the phone, as I always did. And that ended up getting close enough, not just as "Kouhai and Senpai", but as close friends. Of course I still had not the courage to ask her what happened to her, so she could act that way, but I decided to wait until she decided to tell me that ...
"Naomi, let's help the studenta in these free activities?" I know she wants to help the students and if I make her come out of this melancholy, maybe she will return to normal.
"Are you sure, Sebastian?" She looked at me with a look of nervousness. Obviously she would.
"Yes I have." I ended up responding with an encouraging smile, and she ended up giving me a light smile.
She stared at me in doubt, probably wondering if it was really such a good idea. Oddly, she ended up giving a quick shake, and ...
"Thank you, but I will refuse."
I knew she would not accept it, but trying from time in time is not bad. I just nodded at her response and got out of the chair to leave the council room and help the staff involved in these activities. Before I left the room, I looked at Naomi and decided ...
"Naomi, if you want me to stay here with you, just ask."
She looked at me and with a smile ...
"All right, Sebastian."
I hope she underst...
"Thank you so much for always caring for me.I'm very honored and happy to have someone like you by my side, supporting me, encouraging me and helping me in whatever I can.I hope to do enough to help you and make you happy."
I was static for a few seconds ...
That's why I fell in love with Naomi. She recognizes the efforts of each one and she always strives to take good care of those who are close to her or not. And she's true to everyone. So these words mean important to me and for sure ... Naomi ... You will always have a place in my memories and in my heart.
"Thank you, Naomi." I try to keep calm, but how do I do it after that?
"Afterwards I go there with the teachers to help with ornamentation, so go there so we can help the students." She spoke with a pleasant and happy tone, and gave a blink that hit the bottom of my soul.
"Okay, see you later." I answered with my heart beating a thousand an hour, while she waved "goodbye" to me as I left the room.
As I left the room and closed the council room door, I leaned against the wall with my back, and smiled like a silly fool, trying not to get carried away. It was not because I got a slap in my heart because of what Naomi said, but because she recognized that I'm trying to cheer and comfort her, as a real friend should do.
"I think my day was worth it ..."
After being happy for a moment, I decided to go and help 1st year students. Some of them decided to join and do some thematic presentations, so I guess I'll help them as much as I can until Naomi calls me to help her.
Before going down the stairs to the first floor of the main building, I looked out the window and saw the house where Ellyn would be when she asked me to stay, but strangely ... She was no longer there ...
"Where did she go?"
(10 minutes later)
It was boredom to sit on that roof of that house. My butt was no longer able to stand on that roof. So I decided to go to the terrace of Sebastian's school. The climb was even easier than I thought, but even so, I have to be careful if anyone notices me. As much as I'm invisible, if anybody comes to me, they'll know where I am. Not all of my skills are perfect.
I started looking at this school from above and realized it's a pretty big school. I counted 3 floors with a terrace. The building has a square shape, with an open space in the middle of that square, with some trees and paths that connect the entrances inside that building. From here I also see a kind of lane with white markings to the north, another large building with some students coming out and entering it on the side of that lane, a kind of garden with some students taking care of some plants to the right of this main building and another building I don't know what on the left of this main building is. Really, schools are quite complex ...
Being sincere, at Luniverse, there were some Gachas who told me how things were on Earth, and the schools fascinated me the most. Teens getting their knowledge about this world and using it for their lives while living in pursuit of their dreams ... It may seem like a simple, naive dream, but that's how humans live. If they knew half of what happened last week with Gacha Summoner and that fairy named Ellie at Luniverse, they would value life ...
I don't remember much. It seems that a bizarre entity called the Corruption Boss confronted Luni and ended up manipulating her with an energy called Corruption, driving her crazy and doing everything he asked her to do, like sending pieces of the Corrupted Sword to some Luniverse dimensions. A young boy of this world was summoned by this fairy called Ellie and the two ended up erasing the existence of Corruption, besides having saved Luni, defeating Lord of Corruption. After that, there was some problem with Ellie that did not tell me exactly what happened, but all the Gachas helped sort it out ... I mean, some.
I wish I had participated to help solve this problem with Ellie and meet her and Gacha Summoner, but when they managed to save some dimensions, the Corrupted Luni ended up sealing some dimensions, making lots of Gachas never knowing what was happening at Luniverse , so I, Cyko, Maggy, Reddox, Shiro, and other Gachas cannot help or be summoned by Gacha Summoner. And we are free of that seal only after they've solved this problem with Ellie.
I wanted so much to participate in this epic adventure and to prove my worth among the Gachas. But I ended up showing up after everything had closed. And just after a week, my bow and other guns of some Gachas had fallen, falling to Earth for no reason at all. That's why I'm here. I don't think there is a coincidence between these events, but I think it will be very beneficial for the Gachas that did not have much contact with the human world after centuries of existence.
But there is still something that still left me with doubts ... How does Naomi know the name of Luni? I had never heard of a human from the original dimension of Earth who knew of the existence of Luni. Of course, taking out the Gacha Summoner, I heard of a basketball player boy, I think that's the way it is, a kind of swimmer girl and crazy psycho girl that came from that dimension, but they had not even come close to seeing the face of Luni .
"What's going on that you did not tell, Luni?"
After a few minutes reflecting to myself about it, I saw Sebastian coming out of the building where I am, carrying boxes, along with two other students, a boy and a girl. I tried to get close to know what they are talking about and ...
"When are we going to be together, just the two of us, my love?"
WHAT? Why that girl said that to Sebastian?
"When our families are no longer around, we will flee and go to a distant place, far from this war that torments us, my dear."
SEBASTIAN!!! I don't care who you're going to stay with, but I doN't want you to be so honeyed with any other girl, if not me ...
"So be it, my love." The girl came and leaned against Sebastian's arm.
*falling of the terrace with a high speed and aprocuh of Sebastian quietly...
"Sebastian, would you mind looking back, please?"
I mentally told him, he turned back and ...
End of Chapter 7
Chapter 8 - "Glad I was right about you, Sebastian. You're a good-hearted person."
"Sebastian, what is it?"
The girl who was leaning against Sebastian asked with a doubtful face. It is obvious that if a person turns around and makes a strange face as if he had seen a beautiful girl with green eyes like me, it would be noticed soon.
"Nothing, I just think I saw some crazy going through school." Sebastian, you bastard!
"What a relief. Imagine you're turning into a paranormal in your youth, Sebastian." The boy who was with Sebastian said, making a crazy pose. It was ridiculous.
"Only if it was his superhuman idiocy, he would realize without effort, Ian." But what a mature girl ...
"Come on, Stella ... Let me have self-esteem with my combat partner!" But what a strange boy ...
"Can you both pretend to be normal at least until we leave these boxes to the court, please?" Yeah, Sebastian seems to be the wisest of them.
Apparently, this boy with glasses is called Ian and this girl with a ponytail hair is called Stella. As much as I'm a person with a more exotic name than usual, I think those names match those two.
"Sebastian, are you sure we need this idiot's help to help us? I knew he was already looking for any loophole to be useless." Only with this complaint, I have already realized that Stella is a girl who demeans others, I just think.
"Then why did not you decide to stay in the room instead of helping Sebastian do this service for real men like me and him?" And this Ian must be one of those boys with exaggerated male pride.
Ian and Stella stared at each other as Sebastian and I stared at them with a look of lamentation.
"Why don't you two decide to help and cooperate at least this time?" Sebastian wise in action.
"It looks like this spoiled ..." Ian said pointing his index finger at Stella, while ...
"When that useless ..." Styella also pointed to Ian.
"Your ...! / Your ...!"
When the two of them turned to face each other, I decided to get Sebastian's attention.
He looked sideways at the side and ...
"What's the matter with these two?" I asked with a little doubt. It is not normal for two people to quarrel and offend each other for no reason.
"Do you really want to know that?" Sebastian asked me mentally and I just nodded.
Sebastian grinned and caught the attention of Ian and Stella ...
"You two would make a nice couple, don't you?"
The moment Sebastian said that, Ian and Stella looked at him, with their faces red and embarrassed on their faces and at that moment, I understood.
Sebastian just kept laughing, and unbelievably, Ian and Stella stopped staring at each other and were ashamed to stare into each other's faces. Well, I think I know what they must be feeling right now ... These two should like each other deep down.
*staring at Sebastian
"Anyway ... Let's get these boxes to the court right away? I think the teacher will be a bit angry if we get a few seconds late." Sebastian spoke in a calm, warm tone that made Ian and Stella agree and forget the heavy mood between them.
Sebastian has a kind of trigger that manages to do such things ends up in the blink of an eye. I did not expect less from him, honestly. After he, Ian and Stella got the boxes, the three of them reloaded the boxes and started walking toward this gym. As I had already left the school terrace and climbing would be less interesting than seeing what this girl was talking to Sebastian before I arrived, I decided to follow them, without being noticed ... I mean, without anyone beyond Sebastian noticed me.
(5 minutes later)
"So this is a court."
At Luniverse, there are some places we can use to train our abilities and we called them "gymnasiums", but it was just a name that we gave to the place where we were teleported to other dimensions to train our abilities, because even if we take light in these trainings, big mess happens when finished. But I think this gym justifies better what the Gachas they saw on Earth actually said.
"Will he be long?"
I think it's in that room where Sebastian and the "hating couple" Ian and Stella should put the boxes. To be honest, I'm impressed by the amount of students here at this court. They are preparing some species of tents, with some kitchen appliances, some things like fishing rods and other decorative things. I can only identify one thing or another because some Gachas told me about these utensils of these school events happening on Earth and a few little things that Sebastian's mother taught me.
"He's taking more time ..."
I'm not impatient, but I don't know ... Since I came to this school, I feel more tired and stressed. Is this the atmosphere of a school? Can be.
As I thought to myself, I saw a little girl with a messy hair sitting next to me. I was a bit nervous, but it seems she did not even realize I'm here. Still good ...
"Look, it's the Aline Witch."
Out of nowhere, some 3 boys started to approach this girl, laughing as if it was a joke. This is bothering me ...
"Oh, witch, why don't you curse me with your spells?" One of the boys began to speak in a groveling tone as the girl began to shrink, getting smaller and smaller.
"The Witch is now afraid of the atypicals." Another boy starts to mock her face, and I realize that her face is starting to tear.
Strange that the students who are organizing the tents began to look at the girl's direction as if they wanted to do something, but it seems that something is preventing them from acting.
"Come on, Witch, do something, the audience downstairs is waiting." One of the boys started to get closer to the girl, only one step closer to her.
She shrank as hard as she could and started to cry with a few spades. The boy who was closest to her laughed more and decided to move closer to her. The only thing that's keeping me from doing something is he try touch her ...
"What is it, Witch? You gave up on life? That's the way you have to stay. Inferior and depreciated by the normal ones, your ..."
At that moment, the boy put his hand on the girl's head ...
"Dirty trashy ..."
At that moment, I walked with a rage all over my body, wanting ... to ... to ... raise my arm and use a magical projetil, but in that moment that I extended my arm ...
"Don't use your powers recklessly against any human. Although there are despicable humans, there are those who still have kindness and righteousness in their hearts and use it for those they deserve."
The boy was going to push the girl's head against the wall, but before that, Sebastian arrived in time and held the boy's arm so tightly that it made Sebastian's arm tremble and fearful of Sebastian's look.
"Get out." Sebastian's voice was so imposing that it even surprised me ... The coldness that Sebastian was incorporating at that moment was so great that I kept looking closely to prevent him from doing anything to the boy that could be serious.
The boy just stared at Sebastian, but it was clear to me that at that moment ... Sebastian was in control of the situation.
"You know you're going to hurt yourself if you come up with something against me, don't you, poor?" I feel like a very spoiled boy trying to give an alpha male to Sebastian.
"Do what you want, but do not touch that girl any more." In a clear and firm way, Sebastian spoke with his face of high coldness to the maximum.
Slowly, the boy loosens his hand from the girl's head and begins to make a face of anguish. When I looked at the students who were setting up the tents, I realized that most of them were standing and surprised by what had happened.
The girl who was being tormented by the boy Sebastian held her arm just stared at Sebastian, without expressing any reaction, as if that had not happened. But it sounded like deep in her soul, she was ... happy.
The boys who were tormenting the girl ended up leaving, leaving Sebastian in front of the girl, sighing hard, as if he was tired of what had just happened. After a loud sigh, he looked at the girl and ...
"If that happens again, do not be afraid to ask for help, okay, Aline?" With all the calm, welcome and kindness around him, Sebastian speaks to the girl, who nods positively.
After saying this, the students ended up cheering on Sebastian for what he did. I admit that even I wanted to applaud, but they would hear the sound of my claps, so I just smiled at Sebastian, who looked up and smiled back.
"Come with me, Ellyn." Sebastian spoke to me mentally, calling me to go somewhere.
(5 minutes later)
"So that's what you need to know."
I decided to call Ellyn to the back of the court, in an area that almost no one comes across because it is a meeting place for students to do something that Naomi would call "indecent acts" a while ago. I hope no one shows up ...
Ever since Ellyn had appeared behind me before I brought some boxes to the basketball gym's deposit, I knew she had seen something that did not please her ... Why even for her to come looking at me with that face that ready could be transformed into some aggression against me later. And when I explained everything to Ellyn, she had a discredited face that I've never seen ...
"So Stella saying those things to you ..."
"The classroom I'm studying is organizing a dramatic play and Stella is going to be the main character, so I was helping her rehearse their lines, since the boy who's going to be the other main character did not come and that's why we was taking those boxes into the court's storage." One less problem.
"And that girl in the bleachers?"
"Her name is Aline, she likes these things involving the supernatural and things related to what I knew, but some students don't like it very much when she approaches because she thinks she's strange. And recently, those boys were messing around with her and saying horrible things for her, so I asked Naomi's permission to berate them if they did anything to her. " Another clarified problem.
When I explained these things to Ellyn, she sighed with relief. I bet she had been wrong about something else that she imagined. Then she leaned against the wall of the court, folded her arms and looked ironic.
"So you really help the girls, don't you?" I'm starting to regret explaining to Ellyn about what had happened.
"It's not my fault if there are more girls than boys at this school." Guilty of the principal of this school.
"But honestly ... I did not expect you to stop that boy from doing something with Aline." Well, I agree with her ...
"Well, I'm not the most prepared person for these situations, but as a student council member, I need to be ready to solve problems among the students." Putting the advice as an excuse.
"Are you serious, Sebastian?" Ellyn stared at me suspiciously, knowing I'd told a lie.
"Actually ... I was afraid he'd react." I'm ashamed of myself for this.
"So it was instinct or something else I did not know?" What?
In the end, this question may sound normal, but it had a meaning for me. I've never been to stand still and let bad or unfair situations happen. I might even respond that it was by instinct that I went too far in the urge to keep Aline from being hurt or anything, but at the same time, anyone, even Ellyn, would think I was protecting Aline because I feel some thing for her or any freshness of rumor they invent. But my answer ...
"I did it because it had to be done.If everyone was standing, I would be the only one who could move to do something.I hate it when people like that kid do what they please just because they think they are superior to other people. Everyone has their tastes different from normal, and this is no excuse for bothering people who just want to be themselves. I believe everyone had this thought when I did that and I would not mind defending people from idiot cons like that boy did. "
That was the answer I gave. I could just say that was why I wanted to, but strangely, all those words came into my head. I thought Ellyn would laugh or make a joke like, "Do you want to be a justice hero?" But she just smiled and ...
"Glad I was right about you, Sebastian. You're a good-hearted person."
Ellyn's voice echoed through my mind. Only Naomi had recognized that in me, but Ellyn also recognized it ... I don't know why, but I feel like my effort for all those years has paid off. Why ... the only thing I wanted ... was to be remembered ... for my actions ...
Out of nowhere, Ellyn is surprised and she takes off one of her gloves and came with that glove in my face.
"W-W-What are you doing?" I thought she was going to beat me for thinking I was going to make a joke of the sort that spoils the excitement of the moment.
"Stop moving and let me wipe your face from these tears. I know I make people cry laughing or angry, but crying with emotion is new to me."
I'm crying? How did I not realize?
"Do you want to leave or not?" Ellyn spoke in a tone that would beat me if I did not stop moving.
I stopped moving and Ellyn began to dry my face. I don't even know what to do at that moment. I realized she's normal, but I'm holding on to not cover my face with the sense of danger she's giving me if I move her face being too close to my face. The last thing I want is for her to be angry with me for confusing kindness with other things.
After she stopped wiping my face, she tossed the glove behind her.
"Ellyn, why did you throw the glove back?" I think even though she is, I need to act as a member of the student council.
"Well, if I stick with that glove, I'd be disgusted to wear those with your tears on it." Ellyn spoke in disgust as I just looked at her.
"Pick it up and throw it in the trash." Serious moment activated.
"Really, Sebasti ..."
Out of nowhere, she was amazed and decided to take the glove. Of course, someone would do what I told them to do if they looked like that. She grabbed the glove and stood looking for some garbage basket nearby.
"I think my day really was worth it ..."
"Students, the preparations for the festival are ready.Tomorrow will be a busy day, but the animation will be among of us, collaborators of this great event for good causes".
I listen to the president of the journalism club making that slight announcement by broadcasting the school's loudspeakers, accompanied by shouts from the students, who are also excited about this week. After a full day, helping many students in their ornaments for the festival, neither gave the time to go with Naomi to help the teachers, but she told me that everything was fine and she will be entirely responsible for guiding people tomorrow in the first day of the festival. I think it's good news for her and me ... I mean ...
Even invisible, Ellyn manages to be the pioneer of the seven seas, energetic and full of excitement. Well, she and I had arranged to find her bow after class. Even tired, I can not cancel what I promised her.
"Ellyn, could you calm down a little?" I even understand the reason for this excitement, but you need it all.
"What about Naomi? Don't you go with her to leave in her house too?" Ellyn and her jealousy, if I may say it is jealousy.
"Her mother called her and said she was going to get her by car today, so she said I would not have to go with her today." Oops ...
"GOiNg...TodAy... SeBaSTiaN?" Here comes Ellyn yandere ...
"Forget it.. Where are we going?" I've tried to change the subject, and I think Ellyn's excitement over the pursuit of that bow is speaking louder than this yandere side of her.
She started to climb a house and when she got up there, she pointed to the left, contrary to the path I usually take to go home.
"I felt the trail going towards that forest with huge trees with big leaves." With Ellyn saying that, I did not believe ...
"The Temitia forest? Is on the other side of the city and it is impossible to see from here, how do you know it's there?" I was surprised. I did not even show the city to Ellyn and she already knows how far the Temitia forest is, a small forest that houses some trees called Chestnut trees, which have become a symbol of this region that I live in, besides being a meeting place among people.
"Well, the one of the trails stopped there when I did the ritual to locate the magic trail of my bow, the closest it was." The nearest one is on the other side of the city ... The farthest must be where?
"Ellyn, it's going to take a little while to get there, so let's just know the way and tomorrow we'll go there." I said we were going to start looking for her bow, but as it is quite distant, I decided to say that, at least to have a way.
"Okay, you sluggard." I think somebody got .
And so, I and Ellyn started to go towards the Temitia Forest ....
(10 minutes later)
Damn it! We're not even halfway there, and we're still in town. To be more exact, we are in the central area of the city, quite busy for commerce and things like that. It's so busy that Ellyn, even unbelievable, is having a hard time walking among these people.
"Why are we walking in the middle of this crowd? It would be easier if you and I went straight into the forest, jumping through the buildings." Does Ellyn have at least a sense of logic and humility?
"And how could I, a human being, be able to jump through the buildings?" I mentally asked Ellyn that she looked confused.
"Well, you're on contract with me, so you have access to a portion of my powers, including jumping and running faster than a normal person."
That caught my attention. I thought only Ellyn could do it, but how would I do to use those powers of hers? I think I'd better ask her when we get back home.
As we walked, we ended up having to go through a very busy park, to go on a path that went straight to the Temitia forest. Luckily, this park connects to some important parts of the city, so it is very easy to get into the forest, compared to the way we did.
"Ellyn, I think it's enough for today." I mentally told Ellyn.
"You spoil it. Okay, but when we get home, you're going to make some exotic food for me." Ellyn and her extravagances.
"Okay, just do not ..."
I turned to walk back the way Ellyn and I had come, but before I could complete what I was about to say, I saw Aline behind me, her arms crossed, as if she were ashamed. I was slightly surprised that I did not expect to find anyone from school so far.
"Hi Aline~" I greeted her normally, and Ellyn stared at me as if I'd done something to meet Alice here.
"O ... Hi ..." Aline spoke very slowly and shakily, as if she were embarrassed or something.
I must say Aline could be noticed by people only if she dresses well. Even 15 years old, she's a little short, but has a long black hair all messed up, the color of brown eyes, dark circles that are visible and a little pale. It would be what people define as a NEET, but only in appearance. But from the little I've noticed, she's shy and quiet most of the time.
"So, genius, are you going to say anything, or are you going to stand there like a pole in front of her?" Ellyn spoke mentally to me, but in a jealous girlfriend's tone.
"It's ..." Out of nowhere, Aline held up one of her hands ...
"Thanks for today."
She spoke so quietly I could barely hear, but I could understand. She would thank me for what I did for her if she saw me. That would be the first thing someone sensible would do.
"Well, you're welcome. I was already watching what they were doing to you and I was going to do something about it." Is that it, Sebastian? Is there nothing better to say?
"Seriously?" Aline began to crawl, with a face of surprise.
"Yeah. I was just waiting to see to make sure there were people to prove I was right." I think I'll ask Ellyn to slap me in the head after that.
"I see, I'm grateful for what you've done for me." It will be difficult to talk to her with that tone of hers.
"Do you live here?" I asked normally, but Ellyn started poking me in anger.
"No, I need to visit ... my grandmother in the hospital." Wow...
Even the quietest people in life have trouble living together. I try not to get hit by news like this, but coming from Aline who was being bothered by those students and still living with her grandmother in the hospital ... That sure would not be good for her.
"Do you want me to go along with you there?"
With all the certainty of the world, Ellyn and I were surprised by what I said. I'm already very tired and I still want to help people, even if only minimally. Aline kept staring at the right side until ...
"Thank you, but you do not have to ..." Well, it was the answer I had expected ...
"I'm really glad you're offering to accompany me, but I do not want to give you more work ..."
What a quiet voice that hits right in my heart ... I was really looking to keep her company, but now I want to do it, even if I kill myself. I'm a human with a heart, so it's normal to worry about people like Aline.
"Sebastian ... I think we'd better go with her to the hospital." Ellyn said it mentally to me, as if she had understood the feeling I was having at that moment. But it was something unusual coming from Ellyn. What is she planning?
I turned my gaze to Aline and decided to insist.
"No problem. Sew this as a friend's help." I said in such a natural way that it does not even seem like I'm looking crazy around another crazy.
Aline hesitated for a moment, but ...
"Alright ... You can come ..." And Aline gave the same smile when I protected her from that uncomfortable boy.
I nodded and Aline started to walk in front of me, leading me to the hospital, while Ellyn watched Aline with a smile on her face, but a different smile ... A sincere, pure smile. That's until ...
"Does this spirit also come with us?"
End of Chapter 8
Chapter 9 - Let's go home. I think I'm tired of emotions today."
What? Spirit? What did she mean by that? Wait ... Is she seeing Ellyn?
"Sebastian, is she seeing me?!" You must know that, not me, Ellyn!
Calm, Sebastian. Keep Calm ... Is Aline really seeing Ellyn? Although she said spirit, then I think maybe she is not seeing it completely. But I need to confirm this ...
"Well, shall we?" Aline ended up pulling me out of my mental trance, starting to walk.
Ellyn and I began to walk along with Aline, but fearing to catch another scare of this magnitude. Now is the chance.
"What do you mean with spirit?" I asked doubtfully, but still, I feel my body shaking with nervousness.
"Well ..." Out of nowhere, Aline stopped short to say something.
"What is it?" Maybe I have an idea of what it is ...
"W-Well ... Nothing." Yeah, I knew.
I only heard of Aline because of the bad tunes they started doing with her a few weeks after the start of school that year. Because of the peculiar taste of supernatural things that made her go out talking to her classmates, the funniest people started playing with her, but then it only got worse to the point of becoming bullying. It would not be wrong for her to act this way with me, even after she had prevented that idiot of the third year from hurting her.
"Sebastian, I don't want to be persistent, but try to make her talk about that 'spirit' chat." I don't even need to look into Ellyn's face to know she's nervous about what Aline's supposedly told about Ellyn.
I'm also curious, but if it is to prevent Aline from feeling bad or suspicious of me, I think it's best not to lose ...
"Sebastian, why did you protect me from that boy?"
Ah ... of course she was going to ask...
"Well, as a student council member, it is my duty to care for the students' well-being. It would be obvious that I would intervene should anything happen to any of the students in the school."
"Seriously?" Aline gave a slight expression of disappointment, as if that my answer was not what she expected.
Out of nowhere, I get a kick from Ellyn straight into my . As much as it was something unusual and could compromise the drug of her "invisible" disguise, if it can be said invisible, I think I deserved this after that ridiculous answer I gave. After that, Aline looked at me doubtfully.
"What is it, Sebastian?" A madwoman with green hair kicked me in the , girl!
"I tripped unintentionally, nothing too much trouble." Nothing was more than the fact that Ellyn wanted to expose herself purposely.
Strangely, Aline began to look at me with a look of mistrust, as if she knew what was happening here.
"Anyway ... why do not we walk again?" Accept, accept, accept!
"Okay, but can I make something clear between the three of us?" Three?
IS. If I now thought that Aline was not seeing Ellyn visually, at least she knows that Ellyn is here from behind me. But now the fear has grown more so that she does not suspect exactly that it is Ellyn, although she would not know who Ellyn is.
"Sebastian, answer soon!" Ellyn, you're not the only one desperate here!
"Calm down, do you really want me to tell you that you're here for her?" I mentally asked Ellyn.
"Do the following. Answer, but it does not make it clear that you know about me or that you know me." That would be good enough for me ...
"Yes, you can speak." It's ... I give up.
"Sebastian, let's say I have certain superhuman properties that allow me to see things that normal people would not see. So I make it clear that I see that he really has a spirit with you, but I do not know exactly what he is like. keep trying to hide it from me."
That was a surprise to me. superhuman properties that allow me to see things that normal people would not see ... So, if I assume that Ellyn has powers for being a Gacha, then does Aline also have powers or is it something different? Even though I have this doubt, I have just noticed two things. The first is that Aline has a great attachment for supernatural matters because she really has some power, and the second ... It's that she's not as naive as I thought she was.
"So ... You know that spirit behind you and why?" Well, since she briefly told you a secret or something like that, I think I need to return it in the same coin.
"Aline ..." I'm nervous about answering this.
"Sebastian, do as I said, respond in whatever way you choose, but in a way that does not fully reveal to me, my invisibility is already being useless in front of her." In a strange, calm way that Ellyn told me mentally, I realized she was disappointed in herself. So I wondered if Ellyn had enough sanity to think this invisibility was right.
After this advice from Ellyn, I think it best to make her own way.
"The truth is ... Yes, I know that spirit that is with me."
I answered in such a natural way that even I was surprised to say it without problems. But did it go the way Aline esp ...
"It's true, they really exist! I'm not crazy!"
WHAT? Is Aline really drooling? I don't believe that this girl is actually doing this.
"Sebastian, tell me this is normal." Even Ellyn is not believing what she sees.
After about 5 seconds seeing the excited Aline that even a child who sees a very nice toy in the Mall, Aline calmed down and returned to normal, but ...
"Please, forget this moment out of your minds, Sebastian and the spirit that accompanies Sebastian." As much as I wanted, it will be impossible, Aline.
Even with the weird climate between the three of us, I think I'd better say something.
"So you can see a ghost and things like that?"
And so began a conversation that I would never have with anyone. Thanks to Ellyn, I now have to be understandable even with unlikely matters ...
